Installation

Modern Wallbeds are shipped in two boxes. All critical hardware components, ie..pivot points, brackets, etc.., are factory installed on the tray and panels.

The bed easily assembles face down on the floor and is tipped up into position and screws to studs in the wall. No Floor Mounting.

Included with the bed are complete, easy to understand, instructions on completing assembly and attaching it to the wall.

The Wallbed must be anchored to wood studs or other structural members. You must provide at least 3 anchor points of wood studs, sheet metal studs, cinder block, brick, or concrete.

Installation can be accomplished in approximately 2 hrs.

Side Storage cabinets are shipped to you completely assembled.

Legs

The legs on our Wallbeds are hinged using a heavy duty 90 degree cabinet hinge for years of trouble-free use. When the leg is in its open position it rests against the face of the bed tranmitting the force directly into the frame of the bed, not the hinge. They are designed into the trim and hide when the bed is not in use.
